Hong Kong have cruised into the last sixteen of the 2025 World Cup of Darts, dropping just one leg across their two group matches. Man Lok Leung and Lok Ying Lee now prepare to face Sweden’s Jeffrey de Graaf and Oskar Lukasiak in the knockout round.
The duo dropped a single leg in their opening win over the USA, but looked even sharper on day two, coasting to a 4-0 whitewash against Bahrain. For Hong Kong, it marks only the third time in tournament history that they’ve advanced beyond the first round.
“This is our third year playing together at the World Cup of Darts, and it’s the first time we’ve made it out of the group stage as a team,” said Lok Leung, who famously stunned Gian van Veen at the 2024 edition.
“We complement each other extremely well,” added Lee Lok Ying. “When one of us struggles, the other steps up. And above all, we’re proud to represent Hong Kong. We want to make the people at home proud.”

Next Stop: Sweden

In the last sixteen, Hong Kong face a tough but winnable tie against Sweden. And the belief is clear.
“We absolutely believe we can go far,” said Lok Ying. “In 2015, Hong Kong reached the quarter-finals — and we’re aiming to match or even better that run.”
“Hopefully our performance here inspires young talent back home,” he added. “The future of darts in Hong Kong depends on it.”
Man Lok Leung also shared insight into his preparation for the event — including soft-tip tournaments with major prize money.
“That works well for me,” he smiled. “And hey, big prize pools are always a nice bonus!”
