The 2024 Dutch Darts Championship is on the European Tour calendar between May 24th and 26th in Rosmalen, and the initial seeding list has now been revealed.
World Darts Championship finalists Luke Humphries and Luke Littler, will not be there in the Netherlands. Humphries' absence has not been announced, while Littler will be attending the FA Cup final between Manchester United and Manchester City at Wembley Stadium in London.
Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright and Michael Smith are among the top-16 seeded players at this tournament and do not enter the tournament until the second round. For the likes of Jonny Clayton, Nathan Aspinall and Dimitri van den Bergh, the Dutch Darts Championship starts as early as the first round.
In terms of home hopes, there are plenty of the biggest names in Dutch darts in action at the Dutch Darts Championship. Aside the aforementioned van Gerwen, Danny Noppert, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Raymond van Barneveld, Kevin Doets and Gian van Veen will be competing.
A total of 48 players are competing in the Euro Tour tournament in Rosmalen. The remaining sixteen players come from the various qualifying tournaments. On Wednesday, May 8, the remaining Tour Card holders will compete for ten qualifying spots.
