The first semi-final is set at the 2025 Bahrain Darts Masters and it will see World No.1 Luke Humphries face fan favourite Stephen Bunting in an exciting start to the final session in Sakhir.
Humphries put on a clinic as he inflicted heartbreak on Aspinall. He survived a match dart from 'The Asp' before smashing in a 123 checkout to seal a 6-5 win. It has been a good opening series from 'The Asp' as despite having an infection in his throwing arm, he has still produced.
This also evidenced by the fact that he averaged 101 in defeat against the former World Champion. A lot of positives to head towards Den Bosch with certainly. But it is Humphries that moves through.

While the second Quarter-Final was a bit of a non starter in many ways. Stephen Bunting was utterly effortless as he thumped Chris Dobey 6-0 with a near 112 average.
'The Bullet' who like Dobey reached the semi-final of the World's perhaps was one of the leading lights in the reckoning for Ally Pally glory and maybe gave Littler a bit too much respect in their tie.
As before that, he was one of the best players of last season. Being picked for the Premier League also likely gives him a real spring in his step as well as World Series duty, both marks of being back in the elite and he has certainly showcased why tonight.
As well as the 111.3 average demolishing Dobey in double quick time, he also hit four 180's and 60% on the doubles. Given Humphries close shave, if that Bunting turns up he might be in for a real battle.
All eyes perhaps are on Humphries v Littler in the final, but Bunting will have his designs on stopping that in its tracks on his World Series return.
