For the second week running,
Luke Humphries has proven the best of the bunch in the
Premier League Darts 2024.
After the World Champion and world number one had earlier seen off Michael Smith (6-4) and Peter Wright (6-1), Humphries was faced with
Nathan Aspinall in the final after 'the Asp' had defeated Rob Cross (6-5) and Luke Littler (6-3).
With Humphries taking an early break of throw to move 2-0 up via a 14-darter and a 16-darter, Aspinall fired back in leg 3. Humphries kept the advantage though, pocketing the next two legs before Aspinall again kept himself in touch in leg 6. Humphries just had too much in the tank though and secured a 6-3 win with a 78 checkout.
