Luke Humphries sent another signal Friday night that he is still in good shape heading into the World Darts Championship. In an exhibition match in Ipswich, he defeated Jonny Clayton.
Many world top players play exhibitions during this period. Not primarily for a nice extra pocket money, but also to keep up match rhythm ahead of the World Darts Championship.
'Cool Hand Luke' triumphed 5-2 against Jonny Clayton thanks to an average of 100.41. Earlier this week, he also defeated Michael van Gerwen in a demo match after also winning three majors this fall.
