Luke Humphries and
Gerwyn Price have joined the last sixteen at the
German Darts Grand Prix. Humphries in particular managed to impress in his second round match against Luke Woodhouse.
Cool Hand Luke' posted a 108.68 average and a 75 percent finishing percentage. Including a 140 finish, Humphries quickly gained a 3-0 lead, via a 170 check-out and a 161 finish, the Englishman eventually won 6-3 over his compatriot.
Price was able to turn the clash against
Peter Wright to his advantage. 'The Iceman' missed no less than fourteen darts on the doubles, but still managed an average of over a hundred (100.24). Wright countered that with a moyenne of 91.56. The encounter between the two former world champions was won 6-4 by Price.
