The brand new world champion Luke Humphries was invited by his favorite football club Leeds United, to be a special guest this Sunday.
Humphries, who is a big football fan in addition to expert dart player, is expected at Elland Road (home of Leeds United) on Sunday for their match against Preston North End. Leeds United are currently 4th in the Championship, well in the playoff mix but fourteen points off leaders Leicester City.
Earlier this month, Humphries was crowned the winner of the World Darts Championship for the first time in his career, capping off a stunning few months by defeating Luke Littler 7-4 in the final at the Alexandra Palace.
Humphries will parade around the pitch with the trophy at half-time. The 28-year-old Englishman has just returned from Bahrain, where he lost 6-4 to Gerwyn Price in the quarter-finals of the Bahrain Darts Masters.
