Luke Littler follows in footsteps of darts legend Phil Taylor after rare nine darter

Luke Littler once again stole the show in Bahrain. With a final victory and a nine-darter, the English teenage sensation was once again the celebrated man, after already drawing attention to himself at the beginning of January with a final place at the World Darts Championship.

With his victory over Michael van Gerwen in the final of the Bahrain Darts Masters, Littler became the youngest ever winner of a senior tournament at the PDC.

But "The Nuke's" nine-darter was also special. In the first 11 years of the World Series circuit, Phil Taylor was the only player ever to produce a perfect leg at a World Series tournament.

The 16-time world champion threw a nine-darter at the Sydney Darts Masters in 2015. Nine years later, Littler is only the second player to throw a perfect leg at a televised tournament outside of Europe.
