After a day of rest, the PDC World Darts Championship gets back on track this afternoon with the quarter-finals. In an Alexandra Palace filled to the brim, the main focus will be to see who prevails out of the big name contingent at the PDC World Darts Championship as John Part discussed.
As well as Van Gerwen against Rydz, we also have Chris Dobey taking on Gerwyn Price in the afternoon session. In the evening session, we then have the duel between Peter Wright and Stephen Bunting, followed by the clash between Luke Littler and Nathan Aspinall.
John Part, two-time winner of the World Darts Championship (2003 and 2008) and also once winner of the BDO World Championship (1994), is already looking forward to the quarter-finals albeit said all have their merits and stories and in reality it shouldn't all be Luke Littler related.

"Peter Wright has proven he can do something here, he's got capabilities and he's still going to be throwing well. I don't think there's a let down for any of these players now. They've all been sort of building up and from normal sort of games to World class games as it has preceded here," said Part on Sky Sports.
"It's a long two, three weeks. They have to have their timing right. You have to play your best darts for the later matches and we're there and we will be ready for sure. Luke Littler isn't alone, there are seven other guys. They're all thinking this it and they all have great stories to what is going on."
