Luke Littler certainly has become a huge money earner including in regards to memorabilia as was evidenced on selling site eBay over the past week as one of his signed trading cards sold for an eye-watering fee.
Littler won the PDC World Darts Championship last weekend ascending to new heights and as a result the demand for his merchandise has reached sky high for darts, shirts etc. But also a one of a kind card could be found in the PDC's Topps collection.
The Topps Rookie card is signed by Littler and is a 1/1. It sold for a staggering £14,667 on eBay receiving 57 bids so wasn't just a Buy It Now.
Whilst the card is one of a kind of sorts, it certainly shows that while he is the hot property in the sport that anyone will pay a premium for a small piece in this case a signed card.
Also frames with shirts signed by him have also gone for eye-watering prices. All a week on from him beating Michael van Gerwen and after one of the best debut years in sport which nearly saw him crowned Sports Personality of the Year.
