Luke Littler reached the semifinals at the World Darts Championship early this year. Since then, the career of the still only 17-year-old Englishman has only been improving.
Littler lost in the World Championship final to Luke Humphries in early January of this year, but he did not mourn that missed opportunity for long. That same month at the Bahrain Darts Masters, part of the World Series of Darts, he recorded his first major tournament victory at the PDC.
Not much later, Littler was also the best at the first Players Championship of the year, where he was too strong for Ryan Searle in the final 8-7. A month later, "The Nuke" also won the first tournament of the European Tour. In Wieze, he defeated Rob Cross 8-7 in the final of the Belgian Darts Open. Thus, the English prodigy had immediately won a tournament every month in his first three months at the PDC.

He also managed to pick up his tournament victory in April. In the final of the Austrian Darts Open, the fifth tournament of the European Tour 2024, he defeated Joe Cullen 8-4.
First major title
Littler took the crown in May by winning the Premier League Darts, his first major title. In a replay of the World Cup final, he did manage to win this time over Luke Humphries. But Littler did not rest on his laurels after that first major title by any means. A month later he recorded his second tournament victory at the World Series of Darts 2024. In the final of the Poland Darts Masters, he defeated Cross 8-3.
Despite a disappointing debut at the World Matchplay (first-round defeat to Michael van Gerwen), Littler also managed to record a tournament victory in July. Indeed, he was the best at the fifteenth Players Championship, where he defeated Wessel Nijman 8-6 in the final.
And just recently he continued his string of success at the World Series of Darts Finals by beating Michael Smith 11-4 in the final. The sky seems to be the limit for Littler, who is aiming for even more success in the coming months.
