The
German Darts Championship in Hildesheim continues and as does the rich vein of form for
Martin Lukeman with one of the best displays seen on the
European Tour this season.
Lukeman was facing another of the form players in this weekend's field in Damon Heta and surged into a 5-2 lead before the Aussie fought back.
He forced a decider but missed a big number to leave and Lukeman pounced to seal the deal 6-5 with a 104 average, five 180's and 54.5% on the doubles with Heta's sitting at 108 with three 180's and 45.5% in defeat.
While he was joined by
Dirk van Duijvenbode who continued his return to form with victory over Darius Labanauskas 6-3.
It was a victory that saw five 180's and a 96.5 average for 'The Titan' who will now face Rob Cross who saw off Martijn Kleermaker earlier in the day.
