Nandor Major secured a spot at the Poland Darts Masters (7-8 July) last weekend. As such, he will make his television debut at the World Series of Darts tournament.
The PDC is organising its first tournament in early July at the sold-out COS Torwar in Warsaw. The field of participants consists of 16 players, but two spots were still open.
One starting spot was given away during a qualifier for Hungarian darters. The 31-year-old Major managed to beat Patrik Kovacs 5-3 in the final to advance through from the qualifying tournament.
Major has not been on the big stage before but has gained a little experience within the PDC. In 2020, he competed at the Q-School, while in 2022, the Hungarian was one win away from taking part in the Hungarian Darts Trophy.
One starting spot remains for the Poland Darts Masters. That spot is up for grabs on Saturday 1 July in a qualifying tournament for darters from Poland.
