While it hasn't been raining nine-dart finishes like the initial iteration of the Super Series, Mickey Mansell has added his name to the roll of honour for this year during his first round clash with Jamie Hughes at Players Championship 8.
Mansell joins Ritchie Edhouse who went the unconventional route of 174, 174, 153 earlier in the week as well as Wayne Jones to make it seven nine-dart finishes so far on the Players Championship series this year.
It is his 4th PDC nine-dart finish as well, can there be any further players joining this year's nine-dart club today?
