Van Barneveld taken unwell during PDC Super Series II

Raymond van Barneveld has been taken unwell during the early stages of the final day at PDC Super Series II.

Van Barneveld is said to be en route to hospital after seemingly taking a fall while marking a match between Jeffrey de Zwaan and Zoran Lerchbacher.

This came after he lost 6-1 to Ryan Searle earlier this afternoon which was his third first round exit of the week.

The match between De Zwaan and Lerchbacher was then completed and later the tournament was temporarily suspended. The PDC have now announced that the tournament will resume at 2:45pm with the player in question now having left the arena and being attended to by the medics.
