Marijanovic believes not enough is being done to educate rising players: "Someone is failing and can't get it together"

On 9. January the Q-School will start and it will be decided there if there will be new German players on the Pro Tour for the next two years.

Last year Ricardo Pietreczko managed to secure himself a Tour Card and is now moving up the Order of Merit after settling in on the PDC Circuit.

Among other things because Gabriel Clemens reached the semi-finals of the World Darts Championship the interest in darts in Germany increased even more than before. Robert Marijanovic noticed this as well when he was co-commentator during the PDC World Darts Championship on Sport1 and answered questions from the audience.

In the podcast "Game On" he gave vent to his anger because he could not understand that these questions about how to develop in darts and get into the professional track were put to him and not to the responsible bodies.

"I was criticizing certain organizations that, again, I don't think were able to position themselves to pick up young players and say to them, 'Here, these are the state associations, these are the clubs, this is the national federation,'" he told Sport1 of his hosting.

"Again, someone is failing and can't get it together," he continued. "Again, I get thousands of messages: How do I start? Where do I have to go? How can I play darts? Where are the clubs? Do I have to explain this to people?"

"I already had this conversation with people last year!" emphasized Marijanovic in conclusion.
