Martin Lukeman threw a nine-darter on Wednesday in Rosmalen during the qualifying tournament for the German Darts Grand Prix. It is the first perfect leg of the Pro Tour season.
Lukeman threw his nine darter in his match against Tavis Dudeney. After 'Smash' lost the first leg, he started the second with two 180 scores. A 141 finish in the third turn allowed Lukeman to add a nine darter to his tally, something the Englishman has not done before on the PDC Tour.
That a nine-darter comes only in the eighth Pro Tour tournament (four Players Championships and four Euro Tour qualifiers) is relatively late. At this time last year, the tally already stood at five nine-darters.
