We've not long to wait before the biggest darting stars are back in action at the Masters. Defending champion Chris Dobey will face reigning UK Open champion Andrew Gilding in his first match. If he wins, Michael van Gerwen awaits.
The tournament featuring the world's 24 best players will be played Feb. 2 to 4 in Milton Keynes. The top eight players on the seedings list are admitted directly to the second round of the Masters. The brand new world champion Luke Humphries opens against Ross Smith or Stephen Bunting.
Former Masters champion Peter Wright faces the winner of a tie between Jonny Clayton and Krzysztof Ratajski. For Nathan Aspinall, either Dirk van Duijvenbode or Ryan Seale is the opponent whilst Gerwyn Price will begin against either Joe Cullen or Josh Rock.
World number 7 Danny Noppert will be watching keenly at the first round tie between Dave Chisnall and Martin Schindler, former world champion Michael Smith will be looking to bounce back from Ally Pally disappointment but has a tough opening task against Dimitri van den Bergh or James Wade whilst for Rob Cross, either Damon Heta or Gabriel Clemens is the opponent.
