Mensur Suljovic has found a new arrow supplier. 'The Gentle' has made the switch to the well-known darts brand Unicorn Darts, which in the past (until 2022) sponsored the dart boards at PDC tournaments.
The switch was announced on the dart manufacturers X Channel. "Unicorn are delighted to announce that the former Champions League winner, Premier League Star and this year's World Cup Runner-Up, @MensurSuljovic, has joined Team Unicorn," the message reads.
Well-known players such as Gary Anderson, James Wade, Ross Smith, Callan Rydz, Cameron Menzies, Ian White and Jeffrey de Zwaan also work with Unicorn. In the past, top players such as Raymond van Barneveld, Adrian Lewis and Phil Taylor were also under contract there.
With Unicorn, Suljovic is going to try to pull his career out of the doldrums. The Austrian is currently fighting to keep his Tour Card. To do so, Suljovic must qualify for the World Darts Championship as a minimum. In recent weeks, however, "The Gentle" is showing the way up. He reached the quarterfinals on the Pro Tour and was thus in the final of the World Cup of Darts with his compatriot Rowby-John Rodriguez.
