The fourth round of the 2024 UK Open continues to motor on, with former world champion Michael Smith starting his campaign with a victory over Joe Cullen on stage 2.
Smith who showed his class in an early battle of two top stars by beating Cullen 10-7, whilst Jonny Clayton also made it through to the next round, overcoming Tim Wolters 10-9.

Elsewhere, a surprise came from Benjamin Drue Reus, who eliminated former Grand Slam of Darts winner, Jose de Sousa. Kevin Doets brought the Netherlands to cheer by beating German Daniel Klose 10-6, while Keane Barry added to Kim Huybrechts recent woes with victory by the same scoreline.
Josh Rock defeated debutant Patrick Geeraets, while Richard Veenstra was defeated in a Netherlands-Belgium duel against Mike de Decker.
