Michael van Gerwen is currently staying at Disneyland Paris to spend some days there with his family. On Instagram this Sunday afternoon, 'Mighty Mike' posted some pictures from the visit to the amusement park, where especially Van Gerwen's children seemed to be having the time of their lives.
Van Gerwen announced the visit to Disneyland Paris as early as Thursday evening, after capturing the second weekly title in the Premier League Darts in Berlin. The 34-year-old Dutchman then traveled back to his hometown of Vlijmen as quickly as possible so he could leave for France as early as Friday afternoon.
In one of the published photos, Van Gerwen poses with his family at Disneyland Paris' recognizable fairytale castle. Other photos show the three-time world champion's children posing with Mickey Mouse and a Disney princess.
Due to Van Gerwen's visit to Disneyland, the world number two will be absent from the first Players Championship tournaments of the season on Monday and Tuesday. On Thursday, he is expected in Glasgow, Scotland, for the third night in the Premier League Darts.
