Michael van Gerwen, Luke Humphries and Michael Smith all set for pro-Am Promi-Darts World Championship

On Saturday, January 6, the annual Promi-Darts World Championship will again take place in Düsseldorf. Six well-known darters will be paired with German stars and they will compete in pairs for the title.

Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Michael Smith, Peter Wright, Luke Humphries and Ricardo Pietreczko are the six top players invited. Van Gerwen will team with entertainer Jens Knossalla.

Van Gerwen has fond memories of this event. In 2017, he won the title there together with former soccer player Tim Wiese. A second title followed in 2020 with handball player Pascal Hens. Also in 2022, Van Gerwen was the best at the Promi-Darts World Cup. Then he played together with former football player Kevin Großkeutz.

Price teams up with actress Verona Pooth, while Smith teams up with Andrea Kaiser. Wright was paired with comedian Chriss Tall, and Pietreczko throws with rapper Eko Fresh. Schlager singer Jürgen Milski has the honor of teaming with world champion Humphries.
