Michael van Gerwen has confirmed his participation in the Bahrain Darts Masters. It will be the first time for 'Mighty Mike' to compete in this World Series tournament.
Van Gerwen had also received an invitation to participate in Bahrain last year, but then the 34-year-old Dutchman chose to go on vacation after the World Darts Championship. However, the event now takes place a week later, so the tournament does now fit into Van Gerwen's schedule.
The Bahrain Darts Masters will take place on January 18 and 19, 2024 at the same venue as the F1 race in Bahrain. The arrival of Michael Smith, Peter Wright and Gerwyn Price was previously announced. Who the other four PDC players and the eight Asian players will be at this tournament will not be revealed until later.
