Michele Turetta threw a nine-dart finish at the World Series of
Darts Finals qualifying on Wednesday. The leg came at a crucial moment where he
was 5-3 down.
This came in the first round of qualifying, where Michele
faced Andy Boulton, who went on to win the game 6-4.
Michele took a 3-2 lead in the game before Boulton won 3
legs on the spin. The Scot averaged 90.57 in the game opposed to Turetta’s
84.22.
It is the second of the week so far with Dirk van Duijvenbode producing a destructive effort from 5-0 down during the earlier Players Championship this week.
