MODUS Sports Management has announced the signing of one of Europe’s most promising young darts talents. The agency has secured the services of 18-year-old German
Yorick Hofkens, who put himself firmly on the map this year by earning a
PDC Tour Card via European
Q-School.
Hofkens had already made a name for himself at a young age on the WDF circuit, where he collected multiple youth titles. His real breakthrough, however, came early this year at PDC European
Q-School in Kalkar, where he held his own in a particularly strong field. The German sealed an automatic
Tour Card with a string of fine wins, including victories over Brian Raman and Pascal Rupprecht.
Deciding leg against Jimmy van Schie
In the decisive stages of the third event, Hofkens showed he possesses nerves of steel. In the semi-finals he edged past Jimmy van Schie in a thriller that went to a last-leg decider. That result secured his place on the PDC Tour for the next two seasons.
Hofkens has also already made noise on the big stage. In May 2025 he made his PDC European Tour debut at the Baltic Sea Darts Open in Kiel. In the first round he pushed Cameron Menzies hard, but after a tense deciding leg he ultimately had to concede to the Scot.
In 2026, Hofkens will make history as the youngest
Tour Card holder on the PDC circuit. He joins the 127 best players in the world and will make his first official appearance under the MODUS banner at the end of January at the Winmau World Masters.
Billy Lovell,
speaking for MODUS Sports Management, is excited about the latest addition: “We are delighted to welcome Yorick into our ever-growing stable of world class players," he said.
“He is a talented teenager who has proved his potential in gaining a
Tour Card in what was a stacked field at EU Q School, and we are all excited to see how far he can go on tour over the next two years and beyond.

“Very happy to have signed with MODUS”
Hofkens himself is also thrilled with his new partnership: “I’m really happy to have signed with MODUS”, said Yorick.
“They have some amazing players under their management, and I know they will be able to guide my career in the right direction, and get me where I want to be”.
The ambitious thrower is eagerly looking ahead to his future on the PDC circuit: “I’m really excited to be playing on the PDC Tour, and can’t wait to get started”.
