Nathan Aspinall has become the latest man into the quarter-finals at the 2025 PDC Winmau World Masters in Milton Keynes, following a comfortable 4-1 victory over a below-par Cameron Menzies.

The first three legs of the match all went with the darts. Menzies had the throw in two of the three legs and thus took the opening set, in style too with a 110 finish to seal. In set 2 though, Menzies blew three chances to extend that lead to 2-0. Aspinall, who himself had blown a number on set darts in the second set, then punished to take the second set 2-1, levelling the contest up at 1-1.

With the momentum with Aspinall following that drama to end the second set, the two time PDC major winner raced through set 3, moving into a 2-1 in the process. Neither were exactly in top gear though, and more missed doubles plagued the opener of set 4. This time though, Menzies was the man to take advantage. The Scot failed to back that up in the next two legs though, allowing Aspinall to relatively comfortably seal the set and stretch his lead to 3-1 in sets.

With the fight now seemingly completely gone from Menzies, Aspinall went for the jugular in set 5, breaking throw in the opening leg to move one away from a place in the last eight. Although The Asp wired the bull for a match winning 170 and failed to mop up the 25 on his return, Aspinall eventually pinned double 2 for the match and the 4-1 win.
