The European participants in the US Darts Masters in New York took the plane to the United States last Monday. Nathan Aspinall, however, had to postpone his trip.
On his Facebook, 'The Asp' reports that he and his girlfriend Kirsty-Louise could not leave until Tuesday. 'Take two lol,'' Aspinall jokes in his post with a selfie of himself and his partner.
Aspinall then explained why the trip was delayed. ''After an ESTA problem meaning we couldn't fly yesterday, finally we are off. NYC here we come."
The visa problem can be called remarkable, as the 32-year-old had gone on vacation to Las Vegas with his girlfriend, fellow darter Michael Smith and his wife at the end of April.
This trip required the same travel document. This travel document is also valid for two years from the date of issue. Aspinall and Smith were in Las Vegas to take a break from the busy darts circuit and together attended a pool party hosted by famed DJ David Guetta.

Good memories of US Darts Masters

In Las Vegas, by the way, Aspinall once managed to achieve one of the greatest successes of his career. Indeed, in 2019 he crowned himself winner of the US Darts Masters, one of the World Series tournaments on the PDC calendar.
Aspinall began that tournament at the time with a 6-2 victory over Canadian darter Shawn Brenneman. He then recorded an 8-5 victory over Rob Cross to qualify for the semifinals. In the last four, Peter Wright was eliminated after a spectacle. 'The Asp' won this match 8-7 and also recorded an average of 104.21 per turn.
In the final of the 2019 US Darts Masters, Aspinall showed an even higher standard. Thanks to an average of 106.70, he outlasted Michael Smith 8-4 in the final, winning Aspinall a World Series title for the first time in his career.
