On Saturday evening, the PDC roadshow returned to Germany for the European Darts Gala at the ring°arena on the Nürburgring. At the fourth edition of the series this year, around 4,000 fans enjoyed top-tier exhibition darts featuring numerous PDC stars.
It was the fifth staging of the popular Winamax Darts am Ring Gala. With players such as Luke Humphries, Gian van Veen, Nathan Aspinall, Joe Cullen, Max Hopp, and youngster Yorick Hofkens, the field was stacked with big names.

Particular attention centered on the 18-year-old Hofkens. The German is currently the youngest player on the PDC Pro Tour and, just a few months into his professional career, gained further valuable stage experience in front of thousands of spectators.

The sporting highlight of the evening saw Nathan Aspinall and Luke Humphries contest a tense, evenly matched final. In a tight affair, Aspinall narrowly edged it 4-3 to clinch the title.

Show event with sporting value

Following stops in Wetzlar, Frankfurt, and Leipzig, the Darts am Ring Gala was already the fourth event of this year’s PDC Europe gala series. While these events do not carry ranking or competitive status, many top players use the evenings specifically to gain stage sharpness and engage with the crowd.
PDC Europe will continue its gala series in 2026 as well. After the successful stop at the Nürburgring, fans can look forward to events in Neu-Ulm, Bamberg, Magdeburg, Mannheim, Hildesheim, Bremen, Jena, Cologne, as well as a double-header in Lingen.
