Nijman claims first A Night At The Darts group win with victory over Van Barneveld

Nijman saw off Martin Adams (5-1), Ritchie Edhouse (5-1), David Evans (5-4) and finally his compatriot (5-3) to claim it with eight points.

His final win over RVB came with a 95 average, 45 percent on the doubles with a highest checkout of 108 as he produced a polished display to claim it.

Before that, Martin Adams also claimed a victory seeing off Ritchie Edhouse to inflict a fourth straight group defeat on 'Madhouse'.

'Wolfie' had to battle from 4-2 down to claim it though, reeling off three straight legs to record a 5-4 victory to add to his victory over Van Barneveld earlier on in the night
