Wessel Nijman has extended his lead by a considerable margin to 24 points in MODUS A Night At The Darts with another group win on Thursday night.
Nijman won three out of four games to claim this on Head to Head ahead of Martin 'Wolfie' Adams who was so close to winning especially with the young Dutchman nearly falling at the final hurdle.
David Evans is next on 16 points with 'Stretch' having the opportunity to set up a closely fought Saturday finale in the competition with Nijman set to take a night off on Friday night.
Evans from there has a four point lead over Martin Adams and Scott Mitchell. Ritchie Edhouse and Raymond van Barneveld both have eight points but it is interesting to note that 'Madhouse' has played four more games than RVB.
A Night At The Darts is a competition that runs in conjunction with the Icons of Darts League. Each playing week consists of six players. There are five players on each matchday with one player taking a rest.
Each evening like the day consists of four matches for each player with the player with the most wins claiming the group win.

- It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media.
