Wessel Nijman is back in the winners' circle in MODUS A Night at the Darts after claiming the honours in Group Four ending a dominant spell from David Evans in the process.
Nijman claimed six points from his four games which saw him claim it by virtue of leg difference. This came after victories over Martin Adams (5-3), David Evans (5-4) and Mike Warburton (5-3) with his dominance only thwarted by Kyle McKinstry who saw him off 5-3 and denied him a fourth straight win.
Martin Adams who hasn't had the best of it this week after his dominance last week showed signs tonight that he was coming back to form with three wins and one defeat also as he finished second.
After losing to Nijman in his first game, victories over Mike Warburton, Kyle McKinstry and David Evans in the final game as he ended the dominance of the latter in terms of group wins in the process.
It was an interesting complexion though like last night as any win for Evans would see him top the table again and a 5-1 or 5-0 win would see Adams top it like with Fallon Sherrock last night but it wasn't the latter.
Still though 'Wolfie' thwarted the chances of 'Stretch' by claiming a 5-3 win which meant that Nijman claimed proceedings tonight.
A Night At The Darts is a competition that runs in conjunction with the Icons of Darts League. Each playing week consists of six players. There are five players on each matchday with one player taking a rest.
Each evening like the day consists of four matches for each player with the player with the most wins claiming the group win.
