Nine-darters continue to come in Hildesheim! Lukas Wenig hits incredible 4th perfect leg of Players Championship 7 + 8

It has been an incredible couple of days for the PDC Pro Tour in Hildesheim, Germany. After William O'Connor, Ryan Searle and Dirk van Duijvenbode all hit nine-darters yesterday, Lukas Wenig has joined the party this Tuesday afternoon at Players Championship 8, striking perfection in his first round tie against Dom Taylor.
In the sixth leg, the German was trailing Taylor 3-2 in the scores. Restoring parity with the utmost style however, Wenig threw nine perfect darts to get back to level terms at 3-3. Sadly for Wenig, despite him ending the match with an average of more than 103, it was Taylor who moved through to the second round, taking a 6-4 victory.

- Likewise, I have always been a fan of Mervyn and with this worry on his mind, it explains why his form and ranking plummeted. It is really sad to hear this, often chatted to Mervyn and Tracey during the Lakeside days, both are lovely people. It does seem naive not acknowledging the fact it was earnings, surely there must be others in the same situation.
