Noa-Lynn van Leuven has won her second PDC Women's Series title of the season and her third PDC title of 2024 after also winning a Challenge Tour earlier in the year. A title that propels her into World Championship contention alongside Fallon Sherrock.
Van Leuven sealed Event Five which is taking place in Wigan by defeating Beau Greaves in the final who is still without a title in 2024 such has been the dominance of Fallon Sherrock. But also now Van Leuven who edged through 5-4 in the final. En route, she defeated Rhian O'Sullivan, Leanne Topper and Natalie Gilbert in the latter rounds. There is one more tournament which is set to take place on Saturday.
If at least 128 players participate, the PDC Women's Series participants will be awarded prizes from the last 64, with fifty pounds for reaching this round. If there are fewer than 128 players, the counter only starts running from the last 32. In that case they do collect one hundred pounds.
This amount eventually keeps increasing. A final place already earns 1,000 pounds anyway. The winner of the tournament receives 2,000 pounds in prize money. The number one of the final ranking gets to compete at the Grand Slam of Darts and the PDC World Darts Championship, while the number two also gets to compete at Alexandra Palace.
