Noppert after narrowly losing to Smith in Dutch Darts Championship final: "It was a top weekend"

Danny Noppert lost out narrowly in one of the best European Tour finals seen in a long time against Michael Smith at the Dutch Darts Championship.
Noppert despite defeat was positive about his weekends efforts and paid tribute to the crowd also after his 8-7 defeat to 'Bully Boy' in a repeat of the UK Open which 'The Freeze' sealed.
"It was a top weekend, and to reach the final again is great," admitted Noppert.
"This crowd gave me goosebumps."
