Noppert is not worried by mediocre performance: "The win was the most important thing tonight"

Danny Noppert has qualified for the Last 16 of the Grand Slam of Darts. The Freeze defeated Mensur Suljovic 5-4 in his final group match.

Noppert became group winner thanks to this win. "I didn't play great, but the win was the most important thing tonight. I was still a bit nervous because despite winning my first two group matches it could still go wrong. A day of rest now will be good and then my next match against Gerwyn Price will follow, I'm really looking forward to that," Noppert told Viaplay.

Longer format

"I do realise I have to do better against Price," Noppert continued. "But a longer format suits me better anyway, so I am confident."
