Noppert joins exclusive list of players after reaching Dutch Darts Championship final

Danny Noppert reached the final of the Dutch Darts Championship this past weekend and brought about his place on an exclusive list of players.
Noppert joins only five other players who have reached the final of a European Tour tournament on home soil. Of course Michael van Gerwen has reached many between 2014-2019 but 'The Freeze' becomes the second player from the Netherlands to do so.
Interestingly, Stuart 'KO' Kellett in blast from the past is the only player from England to do so back in 2013 at the UK Masters when he lost to John Part in Minehead.
While Max Hopp and Mensur Suljovic of course prior winners on the European Tour in their home country achieved the feat in 2018 and 2019.
