Noppert overjoyed with World Series invitation from PDC: ''What an honour to join''

Danny Noppert received an invitation from the PDC earlier this week to compete in the World Series tournaments in 'Down Under'.

Traditionally, World Series tournaments are played in Australia and New Zealand in August. Michael van Gerwen is missing from the line-up, but with Noppert, a Dutch dart player is still on the plane to Oceania.

Much to the delight of the darter from Joure himself. ''Super nice news,'' the former UK Open champion wrote on his Instagram. ''What an honour to participate in this.''

Moreover, Noppert also had good news for his little brother. ''Jordy will join me in this experience. Looking forward to it already,'' Noppert concluded.
