Only twelve current PDC Tour Card holders have ever produced a 120 average or higher in an official match or sanctioned tournament. That underlines just how exceptional such performances are. Strikingly, it is not an established global star but Charlie Manby who tops the list. The Englishman posted a phenomenal 130.70 average during Development Tour 4 in 2025 and therefore leads the rankings for the highest ever recorded averages among all current Tour Card holders.

Anderson, Wright and Schindler complete the top three

Behind Manby are some of the biggest names in darts. Gary Anderson sits second with a 123.83 average, thrown at a Players Championship in 2024. Peter Wright and Martin Schindler then share third place with 123.50 apiece, while Michael van Gerwen, with his iconic 123.40 from the 2016 Premier League, still holds one of the highest televised averages on record.
Luke Littler has now joined this illustrious group as well. The young Englishman registered an impressive 122.96 at Players Championship 5 in 2025.
The rarity of averages above 120 is evident from the fact that only twelve players have ever broken this magical barrier. Among them are Kim Huybrechts, Josh Rock, Dave Chisnall, Ritchie Edhouse, Bradley Brooks and Owen Bates. It shows that not only world champions and major winners can deliver a near-alien performance, but that less established names can also produce an absolute peak display at times.

Greaves among the elite

In the 115 to 120 range the field is far more crowded. World champion Luke Humphries once recorded a 119.15 average, while Gerwyn Price, Nathan Aspinall, Stephen Bunting, James Wade and Damon Heta also comfortably surpassed 115. Notably, Beau Greaves features as well.

The English player, who has held a PDC Tour Card since this year, posted a 117.88 average on the 2026 Development Tour and proves she can match the established names in this department too.

Strong Dutch performances

From a Dutch perspective, several performances stand out. Van Gerwen remains the clear national number one thanks to his 123.40. He is followed by Dirk van Duijvenbode with 117.74, Kevin Doets with 117.12, Wessel Nijman with 116.87, Gian van Veen with 115.92 and Raymond van Barneveld with 115.73.
Jermaine Wattimena, Danny Noppert, Richard Veenstra, Jurjen van der Velde, Wesley Plaisier and various other Dutchmen have also crossed the 105 or even 110 average mark at some point.

Interestingly, many of these top averages were not thrown at the biggest televised tournaments. Instead, floor events such as the Players Championships, the Development Tour and Q-School often provide the stage for exceptional displays. Without the pressure of a big stage and often in a rapid match tempo, contests frequently arise in which players touch an almost flawless level.
Above all, the list shows how high the bar is set in professional darts today. Where a 100 average was considered exceptional a few years ago, almost all current Tour Card holders now have a personal peak well above that mark. Even so, the 120-plus bracket remains an exclusive club. The fact that Charlie Manby currently tops it, with names like Van Gerwen, Anderson, Wright and Littler following, perhaps makes this ranking all the more remarkable.
