O'Connor was down 2-0 but came back brilliantly to force Peter Wright into a last leg decider and he held his nerve to move through in what is a big weekend for her in terms of European Championship qualification.
It wasn't a high quality tie between the pair with both averaging around the 90 mark but it was the doubles that did it with 40 percent compared to 23 percent from Wright. This was despite six 180's from 'Snakebite'.
Jones also claimed a surprise win seeing off Nathan Aspinall. 'The Wanderer' went 4-1 up and soaked up late pressure but in reality it was too big of a mountain to climb for 'The Asp' who went down 6-3.
Cullen also defeated Jamie Hughes in a 6-3 win to end a poor run of form for 'The Rockstar' against 'Yozza' who hasn't played to his best at all since his Czech Darts Open victory. Despite that it will be a huge confidence boost for the Bradford ace.
