It wasn't the highest standard with both players not doing the best on doubles; but it was six 180's from O'Connor with 30 percent on the doubles which was superior and saw him set up a tie with Price.
Both players didn't play great in the first set; but it was O'Connor who prevailed with only an 85 average and he continued his dominance with a 3-1 set win to go one away; as he upped his average towards the 90's with six 180's.
Both players though struggled on the finishing which is what made it so close; with O'Connor hitting 23 percent and Kantele around 29 percent.
O'Connor though went one away from victory with double 16 at 2-1 up as he was streaking towards the finishing line.
Kantele had one dart at a double to break and send it further but O'Connor hit a 72 finish to claim the whitewash win.
