William O'Connor has reached the Quarter-Finals at the Players Championship Finals in Minehead and will take on Ian White this afternoon.
O'Connor defeated Gabriel Clemens in a closely ran tie
10-7 and will look to go even further later today. It is a chance that O'Connor said afterwards he firmly wants to take despite admitting himself consistency is an issue with him.
He also called the victory over the in-form German huge and that he is going to prepare solely for his tie with White.
"Gabriel has been in savage form so it's a huge game to get over him, and I'll prepare for one big game on Sunday now in the last eight and see how that goes," said O'Connor.
"I want to be more consistent and I have to work on that, but I have my chance now and I want to take it."
