The World Series of Darts Order of Merit has been updated after the Bahrain Darts Masters with obvious leaders at the top including Stephen Bunting who won the tournament.
Bunting scooped the title last weekend as he saw off Gerwyn Price in the final. They are the top two with 12 points for a title and 8 points for a final and so on so this this gives the guide in the race to Amsterdam where the World Series of Darts Finals are held in November.
Price sits second with 8 points ahead of Peter Wright on five points with Luke Humphries tied also on the same amount ahead of Chris Dobey, Nathan Aspinall, Paolo Nebrida and Luke Littler who sits on three points.
Lourence Ilagan, Nitin Kumar, Rob Cross, Xiaochen Zong, Alexis Toylo, Lok-Yin Lee, Basem Mahmood and Abdulla Saeed sit on one point apiece which signifies an early defeat. Michael van Gerwen is yet to add himself to the standings but will this weekend.
He plays at the Dutch Darts Masters in Den Bosch this weekend. There will also be scope for further players to get invited and play and those from Holland and Belgium who are on the opposing side this weekend also add their name to the hat.
The top eight qualify as seeds with further qualifiers coming from eight more in the Order of Merit and the rest are Order of Merit and Tour Card holder qualifiers by the end of the seven events.
