Colin Osborne has finished top of the latest MODUS Online Live League group with four wins from his five games to begin the double sessions.
Osborne came through with eight points seeing off Keelan Kay (4-1), Ben Hazel (4-0), Josh McCarthy (4-1) and Andy Jenkins (4-1) with his only defeat coming to Josh Richardson.
Andy Jenkins was a late replacement for Les Wallace and came second in the end with the difference between him finishing top being that final defeat to the former Championship League winner as well as one leg difference.
While McCarthy and Hazel finished third and fourth with Richardson with the latter on four points while Kay was winless.
Already, Mike Warburton is straight through to the final, while James Richardson and Fallon Sherrock who finished second and third will play a new group on Thursday and Friday evenings with Lee Cocks, Matthew Dennant and Corrine Hammond.
The numbers one and two of this group also go through to the final.
Unlike the first edition of the MODUS Online Live League in 2020, the game will not be played online via a webcam, but at a location in Southampton, England. The matches can be followed via the Online Darts YouTube channel.
