Warburton claims spot in Final Group of third week MODUS Online Live League

Mike Warburton continued his brilliance in the MODUS Online Live League on Wednesday with another flawless group win to end the initial stage of Week 3.
Warburton remained unbeaten in five matches, just like the day before. He consecutively defeated Les Wallace (4-2), Fallon Sherrock (4-2), Colin Osborne (4-0), James Richardson (4-2) and Joshua Richardson (4-1).
He won a total of thirteen out of fifteen matches and convincingly qualified for Saturday's final with 26 points.
Richardson (twenty points) and Sherrock (fourteen points) ended well behind in second and third place respectively.
They will play a new group on Thursday and Friday evenings with Lee Cocks, Matthew Dennant and Corrine Hammond. The numbers one and two of this group also go through to the final.
The same goes for numbers one and two from the new Group C. This group consists of Colin Osborne, Joshua Richardson, Les Wallace, Keelan Kay, Josh McCarthy and Ben Hazel. They play their games on Thursday and Friday afternoons.
Unlike the first edition of the MODUS Online Live League in 2020, the game will not be played online via a webcam, but at a location in Southampton, England. The matches can be followed via the Online Darts YouTube channel .
