PDC Asian Tour Order of Merit standings after 21/24 tournaments: Ilagan qualified for World Darts Championship, Paul Lim may still hope to participate

Last weekend was the penultimate tournament weekend of the PDC Asian Tour 2023. Despite Lourence Ilagan failing to reach a final, the Filipino dart player did secure entry to the World Darts Championship.

Ilagan already won two tournaments on the Asian Tour earlier this year and further lost four times in the final. With ten thousand dollars already on the counter, 'The Gunner' can no longer fall out of the top four rankings. After 24 tournaments, the top four players qualify for the World Championship at Alexandra Palace.

Man Lok Leung follows in second place with $7900, while Paolo Nebrida is currently third with $7800. Nebrida made it to the finals in five of the last six tournaments each time, but failed to win one of them. However, the Filipino dart player did pocket precious pennies for the rankings each time.

Jun Matsuda currently occupies the last virtual starting spot for the World Darts Championship. At $6900, Matsuda has a $550 lead over close pursuers Paul Lim and Tomoya Goto. Lim interfered again last weekend by winning an Asian Tour tournament.
