PDC Development Tour Order of Merit Update: Beau Greaves leads ranking after first five events

After the opening weekend of the PDC Development Tour, Beau Greaves sits atop the Development Tour Order of Merit. The 21-year-old was the standout player of the weekend, winning two of the first five tournaments.
Greaves claimed her first title on Friday evening at Development Tour Event 2 and followed it up with another victory on Saturday evening in Event 4. Over the course of the weekend, she amassed a total of £5,375 in prize money, securing her place at the top of the rankings.
This marks the third ranking in which Greaves is currently leading. She also sits at number one in both the Challenge Tour Order of Merit and the Women's Series Order of Merit. Each of these rankings provides opportunities to qualify for the PDC World Darts Championship, but whether Greaves will take advantage of these spots remains uncertain. Over the past two years, she had earned a place at Alexandra Palace, only to decline the invitation in favor of competing in the Women's World Championship at Lakeside.
Behind Greaves, Owen Bates holds second place with £3,500, while Sebastian Bialecki sits in third with £3,400. Meanwhile, Bradly Roes climbed to fourth place after securing the final tournament win of the weekend on Sunday.
The Development Tour serves as the youth circuit of the PDC, open to players aged 16 to 23. Players who turn 24 during the season are still eligible to compete for the remainder of the year.
Each Development Tour event features a £15,000 prize fund, with earnings contributing to an overall ranking. At the end of the season, the top two players on the Order of Merit receive an invitation to the PDC World Darts Championship and a two-year PDC Tour Card (2026-2027). Additionally, the ranking winner earns a coveted spot in the Grand Slam of Darts.
