PDC European Q-School 2025: Superb Swede Viktor Tingstrom defeats WDF World No.1 Jimmy van Schie to claim Tour Card

The first Tour Card holder of the day is confirmed at PDC European Q-School and it is the player of the day in superb Swede, Viktor Tingstrom who will make the step up for the first time in 2025.
Tingstrom has been epic today and bookended a fantastic series by seeing off Jimmy van Schie in the final 6-4.
He did it in style pinning 129 as Van Schie waited to send it to a decider. But the WDF World No.1 who is one of the favourites to claim a Tour Card this week no doubt will be back over the remaining three days with a healthy haul of points too.
Tingstrom produced the three highest averages over the course of the day hitting 105.07, 101.61 and 100.47 en route to sealing the win. He defeated Karel Sedlacek, Tytus Kanik and Stefan Bellmont to book his spot in the latter stages.
Given the current strength of Swedish darts too, it potentially won't be the last winner from there this week either. He joins Tom Bissell, a shock winner in comparison in the UK.
