PDC Order of Merit: Adrian Lewis loses spot in top-64 after inactivity of over a year

There are not many changes at the top of the PDC Order of Merit after the Pro Tour double header in Milton Keynes. Jonny Clayton gained two places as 'The Ferret' took the title at Players Championship 14. As a result, Clayton is now eighth in the world rankings.
Ryan Searle swapped places with Andrew Gilding and can now call himself the world number nineteen. He currently leads the Players Championship Order of Merit.
While Adrian Lewis has lost his place in the world's top-64 after nearly two decades, and looks set to have to go to Q-School in the future if he wants to still be in possession of a PDC Tour Card.
That Lewis would lose his place in the global top-64 was a matter of time. The 2011 and 2012 world champion announced in April 2023 that he was going to quit darts (temporarily) effective immediately. Lewis played his last PDC tournaments in March 2023 and thus has not earned world ranking prize money since then.

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
