PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit update: Beau Greaves the biggest climber as Wessel Nijman firmly on top after another title

Over the past seven months, Wessel Nijman has captured no fewer than seven Pro Tour titles. Five of those trophies have come in the early months of the still-young 2026 season, putting Nijman well clear at the top of the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit.

Last Tuesday, the 25-year-old from Uitgeest struck again. He defeated Scott Williams (6-2), Tom Sykes (6-5), Sebastian Bialecki (6-3), Ryan Searle (6-3), Nathan Potter (6-2), Tom Bissell (7-4), and Jermaine Wattimena (8-5) in succession to seal the title.

The Pro Tour Order of Merit is based on players’ results across Euro Tour events and Players Championship tournaments over a 365-day period. In that span, Nijman has earned a total of £244,250 in ranking prize money on the Pro Tour. As a result, he has left the other global stars trailing far behind.

The biggest climber of the past week is Beau Greaves, who surprisingly claimed the title at Players Championship 11 on Monday after wins over the likes of Rob Cross, Gary Anderson, and Michael Smith. The 22-year-old English player became the first woman to win a PDC ranking title and took home the £15,000 top prize. After the first three months of the Pro Tour season, Greaves is already up to 63rd on the Pro Tour ranking with £35,250.

Gerwyn Price sits second on the Pro Tour ranking. “The Iceman” has won one floor title this season and also lifted a Euro Tour crown, and is in second place with £174,500. Chris Dobey follows in third on £167,500, while Nathan Aspinall is fourth with £157,750.

Stephen Bunting (£150,500) and Ross Smith (£147,750) occupy fifth and sixth respectively, before Danny Noppert appears. “The Freeze” is seventh on the Pro Tour Order of Merit with £142,500. That puts him just ahead of Premier League standouts such as Jonny Clayton (£141,250) and Luke Humphries (£134,500). Jermaine Wattimena sits inside the top 10 with £133,250.

Other significant movers this week include James Wade who goes from 17th to 11th. Krzysztof Ratajski goes from 20th to 14th. While Gary Anderson surprisingly isn't higher and sits in 24th after another rise. Kevin Doets too who is up there in the Players Championship Order of Merit is outside the top 20. He sits 22nd. While Michael Smith has gone from 38th to 33rd.

The biggest fallers include Luke Littler down from 13th to 15th. Martin Schindler has gone from 12th to 23rd. Peter Wright's woes continue as he shifts from 39th to 51st. While Michael van Gerwen is down from 31st to 41st.

Dimitri Van den Bergh is in a worrying 86th place and now seems to have to worry about his Tour Card. The Belgian is not virtually qualified for the World Darts Championship, and “The Dreammaker” will have to give everything to remain inside the world’s top 64 this season.
