The European Tour will make his entrance in Belgium in 2020. At the end of February the PDC will return with a tournament in Hasselt.
From 2015 to 2017, the European Championship was being held in Hasselt. Due to a disappointing ticket sale, that tournament moved back to Germany in 2018. With a new European Tour event, the PDC is making another attempt in the Belgian city.
The inaugural edition of the Belgian Darts Championship will be played from February 28 till March 1. The PDC also announced that they will return to Czech Republic during the coming season. The Czech Darts Open takes place in Prague from October 16-18.
